Best wok restaurants in Madrid

Our list of the best wok restaurants in Madrid has been compiled based on the following criteria: we have not included typical Chinese and Asian restaurants with buffet-style wok offerings due to their low gastronomic quality. If you try a wok dish from any restaurant on this list, you will be pleasantly surprised and see that there are woks and then there are woks. Another criterion is that some of the writers and/or their friends have tried them; we do not compile the list blindly. Lastly, we have also taken into account user comments on various social media platforms, excluding some from this list.

We can only promise you that a wok from one of the restaurants on this list will be a pleasurable experience, and you will surely want to come back for more 馃檪

Wok to Walk

Wok Madrid – Undoubtedly one of the best, if not the best, wok restaurants in Madrid. We would like to highlight two very important elements: the first is that they only serve woks. Yes, the only dish you can eat is a stir-fry wok, although it can be prepared in hundreds of different ways. They are 100% specialized in them. And as the second element to highlight is how you choose the ingredients, all are visible and you decide.

To start, you choose the base from four different types of noodles (egg, whole wheat, rice, or udon) or two types of rice (white or whole grain). All woks come with fresh vegetables and egg (although it can be prepared without egg if you follow a special diet). The second step is to choose the complement you like the most, you have meats and seafood (chicken, beef, bacon, pork, or shrimp) or vegetables, nuts, and fruits (tofu, pak choi, shiitake mushrooms, champignon mushrooms, cashews, bamboo, pineapple, cherry tomatoes, peppers, broccoli, mini corn, or spinach). All seasoned with one of their 8 sauces to choose from and some of their toppings. What I like the most is that you can put the ingredients you want, 2 types of meats, 5 vegetables, or whatever you like best. That way you’ll have a wok to your taste 馃檪

Musashi is a classic in the city of Madrid. Opened over 20 years ago, this Japanese restaurant located at Calle de las Conchas, 4 in Madrid, offers Yakiudon (thick noodles stir-fried with vegetables), Yakisoba (thick noodles stir-fried with vegetables), and Kimuchi Yakiudon (Chinese noodles stir-fried with spicy Chinese cabbage), all of them delightful. Additionally, we can also find many other Japanese dishes.

Matsuri Tepanyaki & Wok

Address: Calle L贸pez de Aranda, 38
Contact phone: 917 43 43 98
Website: Matsuri Restaurant Website

This is a restaurant worth considering. We love the care and affection with which all the dishes are prepared, and of course, the wok. They prepare many dishes with the wok, beyond noodles or udon (Japanese noodles). Many of their dishes are stir-fried in the wok, such as the shrimp and asparagus wok, one of their specialties. Note! Do not confuse with other restaurants of the same name in Madrid. They are not related.
